Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Warren) Webb, Cincinnati, OH, Mary Beth (Brad) VanMeter, Greenville, SC and Theresa (Phil) Broerman, Cincinnati, OH; two sons, Edward (Ann) Heller, Nicholasville, KY and Steve (Jennifer) Heller, Lexington, KY; thirteen grandchildren, Kirsten, Meagan, Joseph and Alex Webb, Emily, Lauren and Davis VanMeter, Carolyn (Heller) Akers, Michael, Page, Hollis, Austin and Max Heller; two great grandchildren, Bennett and Hadley Akers; one sister, Mary Chaiser, Boca Raton, FL; one brother, Dick Helmus, AR. As an active member of Christ the King parish for 40 years, she was very involved in book clubs, bridge clubs and the Mother's Club, where she served as president and secretary. She also enjoyed her time working with the Knights of Columbus women's auxiliary. She had a long career as credit manager at McAlpin's Department Store until her retirement. Elizabeth loved traveling with her late husband.

Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be truly missed by family and many friends. A funeral mass will be Mon at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 299 Colony Lexington, KY with visitation beginning at 9am, until the service time. A reception will be at the church after the service. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Larry 71, died at his residence on Mon, Nov 8, 2010, following a long battle with his failing health. A Pikeville native, Larry held a Bachelor's Degree from EKU. He also earned a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in History from the UK. Larry was a recipient of the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for graduate studies in history.

Larry was an educator, administrator, and former coowner of Crossings Bar with Markus Cross. Larry was well known in the Lexington gay community, serving on many boards, most recently with the Imperial Court of KY. He refined the notion of service and volunteerism with years of involvement and giving to organizations. The Court recognized Larry's contributions this summer by awarding him the 2010 James Herndon Lifetime Achievement Award. Larry was born on Sep 9, 1939, to the late Clifton 1 Stanley and Lillian Ballard Main.

Surviving him is his step-father, Howard (Marjorie) Main, Port St. Lucie, FL; his children, Michele (Curt) Gillaspie, Edwardsville, IL, and Michael (Maggie) Stanley, Glasgow, KY; and six grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabriel, Lindsey, Chase, Olivia, and Spencer; and dear friend, JC Lewis. He was married to the late Nannie Mae Dunson Clay and leaves to mourn his present wife of 55 years, Josephine Jennings Clay.

He attended the Richmond High School and later served in the United States Navy in World War II. After receiving an honorable discharge, he worked for the Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot for 42 years. Upon retirement he returned to work for Chase Bank for another 12 years. Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church on Elm Street. G.E. was born in Oneida, TN, on July 25, 1918, to William Riley and Martha Ellen West and was the eighth of nine children. He graduated Oneida High School in 1936 and graduated from Volunteer Business College, Johnson City, 1938. In 1941, he enlisted in the army and served in London, England during World War II. While in London, he met the love of his life, Patricia Hanrahan, at a dance at Wimbledon.

Pat and G.E. were married on July 3, 1943. Upon his discharge from military service, after achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, G.E. returned to Tennessee and worked to bring home his bride and first child from England. Reunited in 1945, the happy couple welcomed two children, Penelope Ellen (Frazier) and Timothy John, and meandered from Oneida, TN, to Corbin, KY, eventually settling in Somerset, KY in 1958.

G.E. worked for Jellico Grocery, now HT Hackney, for 48 years. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan, particularly Lady Vols basketball. He and Pat enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage before her death in 2003. He was also preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and daughter Pennie Frazier.

Survivors are his son, Timothy John West; grandchildren, Forrest E. "Butch" Frazier, III, Gwendolyn Anne "Wendy" Frazier (Norman Hommen), and Roman Gabriel John West, and son-in-law, Forrest E. Frazier, Jr. He is also survived by dear friend and neighbor, Becky Fancher, who assisted immeasurably over the years with meals and well checks. Pop also leaves to mourn his loss his faithful dachshund, Buddy.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date and will be under the care of Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset.
