Your team responsibilities

As MSCI’s Executive Director of Wealth Management Marketing, you will lead the strategic marketing efforts targeting the wealth management segment globally. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance client engagement, and promote MSCI's offerings and brand within the wealth management industry. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, embedding a client-centric mindset, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Your key responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

· Partner with product management teams across product lines, research and client coverage organizations to develop a commercial strategy for key focus areas for MSCI to accelerate profitable revenue growth (both direct subscriptions and asset-based fees) from the segment. Actively influence the commercial direction on the highest priority areas and align marketing strategy accordingly.

· Develop an integrated, cross-product line value proposition for MSCI’s product lines targeting the wealth management segment

· Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies globally, tailored to the unique needs and preferences of the wealth management segment and key target personas for MSCI. Incorporate joint go to market efforts with financial product issuers on MSCI indexes (e.g., ETFs)

· Drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility, generate commercial impact, and promote MSCI's products and solutions effectively within the wealth management market.

Market Analysis and Insights:

· Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, understand competitive landscape, and client preferences within the wealth management industry.

· Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, value proposition development, and product positioning, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and client demand.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Collaborate closely with product, sales, research, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives and client needs.

· Foster a culture of collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, promoting a unified approach to marketing and client engagement initiatives.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

· Strong command of the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of wealth management industry including products, market dynamics, and client needs and understanding of needs across key markets also a plus. In-depth understanding of all key market segments, including Digital Wealth platforms as well as both institutional and retail investor personas.

· 10-12 years of strategic marketing experience and proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies targeting the wealth management segment.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a demonstrated ability to adapt strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
