- MCAT score: 522 (132/129/129/132)
- State of residence: PA with ties to TX
- Ethnicity and/or race: white
- Undergraduate institution: T15
- Clinical experience: clinical volunteer at urgent care (100 hours), clinic administrative assistant at nonprofit (400 hours), medical mission volunteer (85 hours, 75 projected), ophthalmic tech (1000 projected...I know this means close to nothing), complex patient navigator at nonprofit hospital (205 hours projected)
- Research experience and productivity: 450 hours with 3 pubs and 1 presentation
- Shadowing experience and specialties represented: 40 hours of EM, cardiology, and opthalmology
- Non-clinical volunteering: 100 hours as coach and motivational speaker (150 projected hours), 40 hours fundraising for BLM
- Other extracurricular activities: accomplished D1 athlete (5-time All American, 12-time conference champ, Olympic Trials qualifier, and 5-time school record holder), TA for 5 classes (300 hours), team captain and SAAC rep (100 hours)
- Relevant honors or awards: over 50 athletic awards including very special NCAA award, top award for my major in undergrad, and 3 post-graduate scholarships
- I got a career ending sickness (I am fine now but it took me out for 1.5 years) and it is pretty integral to my narrative and also is responsible for my decreased number of hours
Would really appreciate any help regarding my application. Be brutally honest.

Leadership and tutoring/teaching as appropriate. They are not service orientation activities.

Schools are looking for non clinical volunteering such as food bank, homeless shelter, etc. At top tier schools you will be competing with applicants with similar MCAT score and GPA and hundreds or thousands of hours of non clinical volunteering.
