Y/N's P.O.V
I come out of the portal back on my Earth.
And start falling through the air towards the ground.
Y/N: Of course the portal couldn't open on the ground. That'd be too easy.
I quickly fire a web line to swing through the city.
Y/N: I need to get home and fast.
I look around and see some cops, but they're not trying to chase me.
Y/N: Hmm. That's weird. Don't have time to think about. I gotta get back home.
(Twenty minutes later)
I've just made it back home and I climb in through my bedroom window.
I sit on the edge of the window.
Just then my spider sense goes off.
I quickly turn and fire impact webbing.
This sticks an old action figure of mine to the wall.
I also see dad standing in the doorway.
Oliver: You wanna go easy on the action figure, kid.
I turn away from him.
Oliver: Just... please look at me.
I turn back to look at dad.
Oliver: What... what is that?
Y/N: I'm looking at you. Like you asked.

Oliver: You got a new suit, huh?
Y/N: Uh, yeah. It was a gift from a friend.
I sigh.
Y/N: You look good.
He nods.
Oliver: Where you been?
Y/N: Oh, you know, just been out murdering all my friends.
Oliver: Oh, that's funny, yeah. Yeah, okay.
My dad walks away.
I walk out of my room and follow him downstairs.
When I get down there I see him at the front door.
Y/N: Where are you going?
Oliver: I don't know.
He sighs.
Y/N: You're a great cop, dad. You know, you put on that badge because you know if you don't, someone who shouldn't will. But you have to understand, this emblem is my badge. And I'm trying to be good too.
I step forward.
Y/N: I was trying so hard to wear this thing the way you would want.
I throw my mask down on the couch.
Y/N: And I didn't. I didn't. I can do all this things, but I can't protect the people I love. I couldn't save Harry or his dad. And honestly... I don't know what I'm supposed to do. All I do know is... I can't lose anyone else.
Dad sighs.
Oliver: Y/N I always taught you to do it by the book.
Y/N: Yeah and how did that work out?
Oliver: I took an oath.
I then put my hands out.
Y/N: Then arrest me, dad. Just get it over with.
Oliver: I can't.
Y/N: Why not?
Oliver: Because I now know I was wrong.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
He sighs.
Oliver: A week after you left I went back to where Harry died and found a black box. I took it to the tech guys and they found the footage.
He steps forward.
Oliver: It showed us that the building came down on top of Harry before you even showed up. So, after finding that out Spider-Man became officially exonerated.
Dad sighs.
Oliver: My job, being Captain, that doesn't matter me as much as you do. As much as our family does. You're the best thing I've ever done.
I quickly fire a web line and pull dad into a hug.
Oliver: That was a good speech.
Y/N: Thanks.
Oliver: No wonder you got an A in English.
Y/N: Actually, I got a B+. I missed a few classes.
We pull away.
Oliver: So, where have you been?
Y/N: Oh, you know... travelling the multiverse with Spider-People from other Earth's.
Oliver: Right...
Y/N: Yeah. I got some stuff to catch you up on.
Oliver: Me too. I...
Just then the door opens and I see mum walk in.
She sees me and her eyes widen.
Laurel: Y/N?
I smile.
Y/N: Hey, mum.
She starts tearing up.
Laurel: Hi.
I immediately go over to her and we hug.
Y/N: I missed you, mum.
Laurel: I missed you too, baby boy. So much.
We then pull away.
Laurel: So, you really are Spider-Man.
Y/N: Yeah, I am. I'm so sorry I left without saying goodbye. I just... I had to...
She puts her hand on my cheek.
Laurel: I know, baby. I know.
Y/N: Wait, where's James? Is he okay?
Laurel: Yeah, he's fine. He's Upstate with your grandma.
I sigh.
Y/N: Okay, good. That means he's safe.
Oliver: Safe? What are you talking about?
Y/N: Right. There's someone really dangerous coming, guys. And I needed to warn you. It's a long story. Oh, and we need to find Markus. I'll need his help.
Oliver: Well, we know where he is. We'll take you to him. Come on.
I leave with my parents to see my best friend.
Now that I know my parents are okay, I can focus on finding Spot.
