3 Steps to Managing Conflicts🚀 Understanding Glasl's escalation stages can elevate you from a good to an exceptional leader. Conflicts can't always be avoided, but understanding their dynamics enables you to manage them more effectively.🔑 Here are concrete steps for you as a leader at each stage: 1. Early Stages (1-3): It’s rather a disagreement than a fight. You can still manage it yourself: Encourage open discussions and seek win-win solutions before positions harden. 2. Middle Stages (4-6): The stakes are getting higher; fighting has started, but there is still a way out. Mediation and clear communication are necessary to avoid coalitions and de-escalate threats. 3. Late Stages (7-9): We’re heading towards a situation nobody can win. In these stages, external support is often inevitable. Recognize when you need to involve a neutral third party to limit the damage. Each stage of escalation requires a tailored approach. The key is not to remain passive but to act proactively. Conflict management is an art – and with the right knowledge, you can turn any problem into an opportunity for improvement. Before it’s too late.#ConflictResolution #Leadership #EscalationModel

🔍 Your Thoughts?: I'm curious to hear your insights. I just came across this YouTube video, and it got me thinking. How do you see Steve Jobs' management principles playing out in today's corporate world? Have you applied any of these lessons in your leadership journey?🌟 Reflecting on Steve Jobs' Timeless Leadership Lessons in 2024 🌟In an era where rapid technological advancements and evolving workplace dynamics dominate, I find myself revisiting the wisdom of one of the most influential leaders of our time - Steve Jobs. His approach to management, particularly in reaching consensus and fostering team unity, seems more pertinent now than ever.💡 Consensus over Compliance: Jobs famously emphasised the importance of building consensus on key decisions rather than enforcing compliance. In today's diverse work environments, this principle resonates strongly. How do we, as leaders, ensure that every voice is heard and valued in decision-making processes?💼 Significance of Decision Differentiation: Jobs was adept at distinguishing between decisions requiring collective input and those not. As a CEO, do you find this differentiation crucial for efficient and effective management. How do we balance the need for team involvement with the agility required in fast-paced business environments?🤝 Direction, Not Just Execution: Paying people for direction and guidance, not just task execution, was a Jobs hallmark. In our current landscape, where remote and hybrid work models are prevalent, how can we better empower our teams to contribute directionally and executively?🖥️ Team Alignment vs. Individual Brilliance: Jobs did not shy away from tough decisions, including team realignment, when necessary. Yet, he valued resolving disagreements to achieve team cohesion. In our experience, how do we navigate these delicate situations to maintain team integrity and drive forward?https://lnkd.in/e6bF8dcU
