What more is needed to call for increased investments in AI? The European Court of Auditors highlights a significant investment gap, with the EU trailing by over €10 billion compared to the USA. Extensive and targeted AI investments will crucially impact the EU's economic growth in the coming years.Both the German Council of Economic Experts and the European Court of Auditors emphasize the underfunding of AI as a primary reason for structural growth weaknesses in Germany and Europe. This issue can't be highlighted enough!Policymakers must allocate significantly more funds for AI. Instead of the state acting as an investor, appropriate market-oriented public institutions like SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen and KfW Capital should be funded.
